Christos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of West Attica and instructor at the Hellenic Open University. Before joining University of West Attica, he’d been faculty member at Regent’s University London in the United Kingdom, Marconi University in Rome, Italy. He has also taught at the Department of Economics at the University of Patras and at the Open University of Cyprus. He has also been an external examiner and evaluator of BA and MSc programs at many international universities and External Research Associate at the Bank of Greece. He earned his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of Patras, Greece, specialising in Credit Markets and Business Investment Decisions. His research interests lie within the framework of real economic decisions under capital market imperfections. In addition, Christos is involved in several thematic areas, such as Climate Finance, Trust in Institutions, Non-traditional Markets, Economic growth and Government Spending etc. His research has been published in internationally recognized academic journals like Risk Analysis, Journal of Economic Behaviour and Organizations, Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Political Economy etc., and presented at international conferences. Finally, he has served as a reviewer for many indexed academic journals and as an editor for different publishing houses.
